Passing the Igneous Maw is the debut full-length from black doom duet Argonavis. Thematically, the piece traces the descent and reemergence inherent to spiritual and psychological development. In reverence towards the force of entropic demise, it follows an allegorical journey from the Katabasis, the depths of the Serpent’s Rarek's mouth, to the Katharmos, the triumphant ascension.
